Since the 2015/16 school year, Ms. Lieser has been working as a school social worker at the Vogelsang School with a 50% position.
Social work with Mrs. Lieser
The offer of school social work is voluntary and includes five main tasks:
Advice and support for students, parents and school
The offer of counseling is confidential. In Ms. Lieser’s office, children as well as teachers or parents can seek advice. Be it in crisis situations or general questions.
Individual case assistance
In confidential cooperation between parents, school and Mrs. Lieser, it is discussed how support can be provided in the long term.
Prevention
Ms. Lieser organizes and accompanies different (external) projects as needed. She also carries out projects to strengthen self-awareness. The topic of violence prevention is also dealt with in various ways.
Social group work with classes
The competencies and skills of the students are promoted through various target group-specific offers and actions. Here, Mrs. Lieser develops the content of the offer in close cooperation with the respective class teachers.
School opening
Ms. Lieser is in contact with specific counseling centers and services for families.
